Join Us March 5-8, 2026

Starlight is honored to be a part of this incredible gathering.

An annual Portland experience, the Rose City Yarn Crawl is an event for fiber enthusiasts — knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, and felters — to explore the many shops in and around Portland, Oregon! 2026 will mark our 17th year of celebrating Portland as a yarn and fiber destination.

This years crawl will be a 4 day in person event, with a special trunk show on Wednesday. We are thrilled to be welcoming all of our crawlers through our doors for an exciting crawl with passports, fun prizes to win and amazing trunk shows.

Check out our trunk shows and special offerings just for this year's crawl!

Trunk shows available throughout crawl

Sewrella

Thursday - Sunday

They can't be here in person, so we invited them to send along a special trunk show for you to shop throughout the crawl. The warm and inviting colors of Sewrella yarn make for beautiful garments with a story. Keep your eyes peeled for custom colors only available during the crawl!

A Needle Runs Through It

Thursday - Sunday

We are delighted to have a very special trunk show from A Needle Runs Through it, including custom knitting bags made just for this crawl. Each item is handmade in their California studio by Maria and her family, using carefully sourced materials that ensure durability and charm. They specialize in creating accessories and organizational tools that are as useful as they are beautiful, designed with the needs of knitters, crocheters, and stitchers in mind.

Twice Sheared Sheep

Thursday - Sunday

We are excited to have a curated collection of Twice Sheared Sheep goodies, including many we have never carried! Here's what they say about what they do: "At Twice Sheared Sheep we are all about empowered knitting, and we want you to have more time actually knitting while watching TV or chatting with your friends, not recounting your rows or re-reading your stitches. We want you to know exactly where you are in your pattern whether it’s been 5 minutes or 5 years since you’ve last picked up your project, without fear that you’ll have to rip it all out. That’s empowered knitting, and we’ve got tools to help."

Kitty with a Cupcake

Thursday - Sunday

Last year we sold completely out of goodies from Kitty with a Cupcake, so don't sleep on this year's trunk show. Here's an intro for you: "Hi There! I'm Emily of Kitty With A Cupcake. I'm a full-time artist, pin designer, illustrator, and knitting pattern designer. I create magically cute flair for Queers, Witches, Crafters, and Cool People! I have designed so many fun items with my art like enamel pins, stickers, stationery, charms, earrings, and more. All of Kitty With A Cupcake’s items are made with real 100% human powered art!"
